Are Higer Education Institutions deviating market labor in Mexico?

Labor force has grown explosively in México but has been terribly wasted.

¿Is education the root cause of so much poverty, unemployment and violence among young people in the México?

SUMMARY

The 13th economy between the most advanced nations of the world. 1th on buying power per person, in contrast only numbre 54 GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in the world according to the world bank and the least productive country in the world per worker.

Since the present way of measuring a country}s growth is the degree of education aquired according to the OCDE. The present work intends to focus on the higher education level trying to forsee some of the causes of the unemployment in the country.

There have been some research papers wich say that there is no relation between what the employers need and what the IES (Higher education Institutions) teach as a proffessional competences.

We aim to proove that higher education institutions tend to deviate the market labor by the incentives the law gives them to charge tuitions to students for their enrollment of their chosen career. Thus, changing the labor market main reason which is to provide with highly trained and qualified proffessionals for the jobs needed.

Consequently the market main actor and purpose is no longer the employer need or demand, but the students desires.

In fact the IES are not providing the market whith what is needed, but rather supply the students demand eventhough this has nothing to do with the real economic need i the job market.

Therefore we intend to describe, explain and predict the outcome of the problem or issue and signal what is exactly causing it.

Unemployment among the youth sector ; violence converted in to mass murder graves; under employment; Last place among OCDE countries in education; between the least competitiveness counties in the world and more indicators have made us wonder what is really going on with education in México last place among OCDE countries in education young demographic bonus wasted So many young people joining the drug cartels most professionals among the poor population

Even though our aim is focused on higher education, we can not omit to say that mos of the problems star in the elementary level wher more than 50% of the youngsters who start, leave early to never return. Noe story is not an exception.

Tha national institute of statistics and geography in Mexico has been saying that in our country shocking as it may seems the unemployment rate for higher education people are higher than elementary graduates.

Some economist say that mexico has been puting makeup in the unemployment rates for years to hide a worst reality. To good to be true. Take a look at the numbers compared to the american Univerities in this PDF book edited by the government agency of statistics.

The informality sector is up to 7 of every 10 people working in the labor market. The informality sector are those who work in the underground market (which means people that have np social security, housing rights, banks loans rights etc...) take a big toll on the percentage of the working population and is growing every day.
